GMU Rector Attends Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities in Szczecin

Rector Professor Adam Weintrit is participating in a meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities (KRPUT), held in Szczecin from 28 to 30 May 2026. This year’s event is hosted by the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (ZUT), which is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
The event began with the official celebrations marking ZUT’s anniversary, held in the Auditorium at the university’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
The main programme also includes plenary sessions of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities, during which participants will discuss key issues related to the operation and development of higher, as well as cooperation between technical universities in Poland.
During the second day of the meeting, participants will continue the plenary sessions and discussions on the challenges facing Polish technical universities.
The Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities is one of the most important forums for cooperation within Poland’s technical university academic community. It enables the exchange of experience and the development of common positions on matters of importance to higher education and research.
