Dar Młodzieży is in the final stage of its journey towards the equator. The white frigate's latest voyage is in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the crossing of the equator by the first vessel under the Polish flag - the tall ship Lwów, the Maritime Higher School's training ship during the years 1921-1930. The last stop before three weeks at sea without making for port was Cape Verde. Here, in the port of Mindello, the ship and its crew took part in events promoting Poland and Polish culture.
