GMU Staff Member Wins Award at IEEE METROSEA 2023

We are pleased to announce that Oktawia Specht, an assistant in the Faculty of Navigation has received the award for the best paper presented by a young researcher (up to 35) during this year’s IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for the sea held on 4-6th October in Malta (https://metrosea.org/).

The paper, entitled “Application of NDVI for marine algae monitoring: a Polish case study”, was one of only three papers awarded from among more than 100 presented at the event.
