Council of the Maritime Institute | Gdynia Maritime University

The Council of the Maritime Institute was established on 21^ST April 2021 by Regulation of the President of Gdynia Maritime University no. RBP / 0132/18/2021.

The Council of the Maritime Institute fulfils an advisory role to the Rector of Gdynia Maritime University and the Director of the Maritime Institute, monitoring the financial management of the Maritime Institute, the management of its operations, and providing opinions concerning key areas of its activity.

The Council of Maritime Institute comprises:

Filip Malata - GMU Chancellor
Eugeniusz Paweł Orzeszek - GMU Bursar
Sławomir Kalicki, member of the University Council *Chair
Grzegorz Rutkowski, PhD(Eng), Master Mariner - Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Navigation
Juliusz Gajewski - Head of the Department of Operational Oceanography
