GMU Success in Sport Climbing Championship
The Gdynia Maritime University Sport Climbing Section took part in the Polish Academic Sport Climbing Championship, which was held from 20 until 23 March 2025 in Łodź. The GMU representatives competed in three different categories: sport climbing (difficulty), bouldering, and speed climbing.
The University's team was made of nine climbers representing the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Navigation, and Management and Quality Science.

The team's trainer is Kacper Falkiewicz.
Our representatives took 3rd place in the ranking of social and natural science universities in the men's category and 4th place in the women's category.
