GMU Technology Transfer Office Included on List of Pomerania Development Agency Accredited Business Support Institutions
The Gdynia Maritime University Technology Transfer Office has obtained accreditation in the area of technical and environmental consulting within the Business Support Institutions Database as part of the ‘Pomerania Information and Advisory Services System SPEKTRUM 2030’ project carried out by the Pomerania Development Agency (Agency Rozwoju Pomorza S.A.)
GMU is the first university in the region to gain accreditation in this area.
This status enables GMU to provide specialist advisory services and carry out commissioned research for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, under the funding available through the SPEKTRUM programme.
SPEKTRUM is a Pomeranian support programme which enables companies to obtain funding for 50% of the cost of specialist consultancy services.
The areas of technological and environmental consultancy for which the University has gained accreditation cover, in particular, the selection of technological solutions, the design of technological processes and production lines, the development of production standards, and the preparation and implementation of investments in relation to environmental issues.
