GMU Invites You to Attend Academic Choir Spring Concert

Gdynia Maritime University invites you to attend a spring concert – entitled ‘Something Beautiful’ – to be performed by the University’s Academic Choir. Those attending the event will enjoy arrangements of Polish and international film music, folk music, and atmospheric sacred music.
The choir will sing about beautiful feelings, phenomena and gestures – about the beauty of life, the beauty of women (to mark International Women’s Day, which falls on 8 March), and many other facets of beauty.
The concert’s repertoire will include music from the film ‘The Lion King’ (Circle of Life), ‘The Greatest Showman’ (Never Enough), Two Hearts (Dwa Serduszka), The Wedding (Wesele), Night Graffiti (Nocne Grafitti), folk music from Romania and Spain and Sacred music by Ola Gjeilo and Anton Bruckner.
The concert will take place on 8 March 2026 at 18:30 in the Tadeusz Meissner Auditorium in the main GMU building.
All are welcome to attend.
Entrance is free.
