This coming Sunday, 31 May 2026, is going to be a massive celebration! To mark Children’s Day, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister is opening its gardens and transforming them into a magical ‘Land of Imagination.’ Among the many attractions, you'll find the Gdynia Maritime University stand, where we’ve lined up a true maritime adventure for our youngest visitors –  and the young at heart!

Brought to life by our Promotions Office team, the GMU zone will be bursting with creativity, discovery, and fun. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch the call of the sea right in the heart of Warsaw and see for yourself just how fascinating science and seafaring traditions can be.

What’s in store for our young explorers?

Visitors to the GMU stand can dive into a fantastic lineup of hands-on workshops and activities:

  • Master the Ropes: Learn how to tie essential sailing knots – a skill that comes in handy on any deck!
  • Secret Codes: Craft your own unique bracelet featuring your name spelt out in Morse code.
  • Meet a Legend: Discover the heartwarming story of Teddy the Sailor (guaranteed to steal every child’s heart) and make your own commemorative nautical bookmark.
  • Treasure Hunt: Test your intuition by hunting for hidden treasure in a pirate’s chest.
  • Maritime Muse: Let your creativity set sail and write your very own sea-inspired poem.
