Colourful, creative and full of maritime spirit – that is how Gdynia Maritime University celebrated Children's Day during the 'Land of Imagination' event held in the Gardens of the Prime Minister's Chancellery. The GMU stand attracted hundreds of young explorers and their families, offering unique workshops, games and educational activities inspired by the sea.

On 31 May, the Gardens of the Prime Minister's Chancellery were transformed into a space filled with children's laughter, creativity and learning through play. Among the many attractions prepared for visitors, Gdynia Maritime University invited guests into a world of seafaring traditions, maritime mysteries and a shared passion for the sea.

At the stand organised by the GMU Promotion Office, children had the opportunity to learn how to tie basic sailing knots, create bracelets with their names written in Morse code, make maritime-themed souvenir bookmarks and discover the story of the Sailor Bear. The pirate treasure chest and creative word games, during which the youngest participants composed their own sea-themed poems, also proved extremely popular.

Throughout the day, there was no shortage of smiles, a warm family atmosphere and conversations about the sea, education and the opportunities offered by Gdynia Maritime University. The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote maritime traditions and demonstrate that learning can be a fascinating adventure from an early age.

We would like to thank all the children, parents and guests who spent time with us and visited our stand.
