A Final Farewell to Dr Edward Krajczyński, Associate Professor of the Higher Maritime School in Gdynia

It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing of 
Dr Edward Krajczyński, Associate Professor at the Higher Maritime School in Gdynia, 
on 13 September 2026.

He will be remembered as one of the founders of our University’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering, an outstanding specialist in marine engineering and electronic navigation technologies, a good and upright person, a valued academic teacher, a mentor to generations of students, and a warm colleague.

The Rector, the Senate, and the academic community of Gdynia Maritime University extend their heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

The funeral service will be celebrated on 18 September 2026 at 10:00 at the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Reda, ul. Kościelna 18.

The burial will take place at 11:00 at the cemetery in Reda, ul. Semmerlinga.
