Just a few days after returning from a transatlantic voyage lasting more than five months, the Dar Młodzieży has put to sea again. On 26 September 2026, the Gdynia Maritime University sail training ship began a four-day voyage in the Baltic, in which secondary school pupils from Gdynia, Ostróda, and Darłowo are taking part.

The Baltic voyage is taking place as part of the project Voyage of 100 Young Poles for the Centenary of Gdynia, which is part of the city's jubilee celebrations. During the year, the young participants are taking part in voyages on board various vessels, including the STS Pogoria, the Zawisza Czarny, the ORP Iskra, and the Dar Młodzieży. Attending the event on behalf of the University was the Director of the Maritime Operations Department, Master Mariner Dariusz Jellonnek.

The Dar Młodzieży set sail on another voyage just three days after returning to her home port. On 23 September, the frigate concluded a transatlantic expedition of more than five months, during which she crossed the Atlantic twice and represented Poland during the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States, including during the parade of tall ships in New York on 4 July. The return of the tall ship to Gdynia from the current voyage is scheduled for 1 October 2026.
