Once again this year, Gdynia Maritime University will play its part in the grand fundraiser finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The 30th grand finale will raise money to buy specialist medical equipment used to treat eye disorders and diseases in children.

As part of the fundraiser, GMU has donated a few items of interest for auction.

Those who are interested can now bid for the following items on allegro:

On 30th January, the day of the grand finale, the University’s Faculty of Navigation will play host to some interesting attractions.

Between the hours of 10:00am and 2pm, the Faculty’s navigation bridge simulator will be open for visits whilst a “cosmic seance” will be shown every 30 minutes in the Planetarium. Our lovely shipmates will also be more than happy to pose for souvenir photos.

Visitors to the Faculty of Navigation will get a chance to contribute to this year’s cause. All donations made will be given in full to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

In the interests of safety, all events will take place in accordance with current Covid-19 sanitary rules and guidelines.
