Dominic Kudlacek
Dominic Kudlacek is a Professor of Security Management, Emergency Management and Crisis Management at University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven. He is also the Director of the Institute for Safety and Security Studies (ISaSS), which deals with risk analysis, risk management and the prevention of hazards and threats caused by intentional actions (security) or without intent (safety). ISaSS has been involved, among others, with the Offshore Wind Energy – Protection and Safety (OWiSS 2015-2018) project. As of 2016, he was the Deputy Director of the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (KFN).
He holds a degree in sociology from the University of Hanover (Germany) and a PhD from the University of Wuppertal (Germany). Prof. Boris Kudlacek is a lecturer of Operational Safety and Risk Management on Offshore Wind Energy Master of Business Administration programme implemented jointly by University of Applied Science Bremerhaven and Business Academy SouthWest.
