Scholarships

Foreigners of Polish origin applying to the Polish Government for a scholarship should contact the Polish diplomatic-consular post in the place of their residence to obtain more detailed information concerning the requirements and conditions for studying in Poland. 

Other foreigners who intend to apply for Polish government scholarships should contact the Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange [Biuro Uznawalności Wykształcenia i Wymiany Międzynarodowej].

Student Identity Card

Every Gdynia Maritime University receives a student identity card enabling them to a 50% discount on public bus and trolleybus transport and a 51% discount on tickets for the Tricity Express Railway (Szybka Kolej Miejska) and long-distance trains. A student identity card is also required to enter and make use of the facilities in the University's libraries.  

Student Careers Office

The University also runs a Student Careers Office in the main University building on Morska Street. The Office receives job, internship and traineeship offers directly from employers, often aimed at recruiting students and graduates with the type of skills and competencies gained at Gdynia Maritime University. Under the guidance and support of the Career's Office staff, students and graduates can therefore pursue their dream internship, traineeship, or job without leaving their place of study.
