Twins Sea Regatta Division
The Twins Sea Regatta Division invites Gdynia Maritime University students, staff and supporters of the Centre to take part in training sessions and regattas on the waters of Gdańsk Bay.
The division's team leader is Adrian Manista, a student in the Navigation Department, and the sailing coach is Piotr Chylarecki, an experienced sailor and instructor who has worked with the Centre for many years.
The Twins yacht is a Conrad 777 racing vessel designed for the 1/4 ton class — well-suited for training and racing in the Bay. It measures 7.77 metres long and has a sail area of 28.58 m2.
We are looking for people interested in sailing, especially regatta sailing, who would like to represent Gdynia Maritime University. No experience or licence is required – we will teach you everything you need to know, although having a licence would be an advantage. Due to the summer regatta season, we prefer applicants who live in or near the Tri-City area.
