Faculty Launches Master’s Degree Programme in Computer Science
We are pleased to announce that admissions are now open for master’s studies offered by the Faculty of Computer Science. The Faculty received official approval to go ahead with its second-cycle study programme in Computer Science from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 26 May 2026.
Computer Science at master’s degree level is a three-semester programme designed for engineering graduates who wish to develop their skills in the most future-oriented areas of the IT sector. It is aimed at candidates interested in working on advanced projects and pursuing expert or managerial career paths in IT.
The programme has a practical profile and focuses on real-world skills required in today’s labour market. It enables students to gain advanced knowledge and competencies in computer science, particularly in artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomous and robotic systems, big data analytics, cyber security, cryptography, natural language processing and modern information-processing technologies.
A major advantage of the programme is a three-month professional placement arranged by the University in cooperation with its IT industry partners. This enables students to gain experience, develop their portfolios and work on projects involving modern technologies while still studying.
Specialist areas offered as part of the programme include:
- AI-based systems
- autonomous and robotic systems
- applications of AI in data processing
