Training Courses
Maritime Radio Communication Training Centre – courses conducted in Polish or English, preparing participants for state examinations for all types of radio operator certificates in the maritime mobile service and inland navigation, in accordance with international and national regulations. The offer includes training for certificates such as GOC, ROC, CSO, LRC, SRC, VHF, IWC, as well as refresher training in operating procedures and communication protocols – GMDSS Refresher, aimed at renewing existing GOC/ROC certificates.
GMU Officer Training Centre - Qualification, refresher, and specialist courses for seafarers and other maritime industry personnel, conducted in accordance with national requirements and the provisions and recommendations of the STCW 78/95 Convention.
Sailing and Water Sports Centre - Sailing and motorboat courses, specialised training, training and themed yachting trips, mini-recreational sailing trips, two regatta divisions, Twins and Omega, cooperation in organising sporting and educational events.
Offshore Wind Energy Centre -The main purpose of the Offshore Wind Energy Centre is to educate a highly qualified management and specialist workforce to meet the needs of the Offshore Wind Energy sector; support Offshore Wind institutions and enterprises in implementing effective organisational, technical, and technological solutions; create, gather, and disseminate up-to-date knowledge on the development and functioning of the Offshore Wind sector; raise awareness of the importance of Offshore Wind Energy for the national economy, particularly in the areas of energy security, economic growth, and labour market development; promote Offshore Wind Energy as a key element in addressing national and global climate challenges; publish studies and analyses on the development directions of the Offshore Wind Energy market; and promote Gdynia Maritime University as a leading centre of excellence in Offshore Wind and renewable energy.
