Gdynia Maritime University offers postgraduate study programmes (non-degree) at the Faculty of Navigation and the Faculty of Management Quality Science. Programmes are currently taught in Polish only.

FACULTY OF NAVIGATION

Cybersecurity in the Maritime Industry

A Polish-delivered, two-semester course (approx. 187 contact hours) with weekend sessions roughly once a month. You’ll master the legal and standards landscape (UKSC, RODO/GDPR, NIS/NIS2; ANSI/ISA-62443, ISO 27001, NIST; IMO), risk management, IT/OT security governance, cryptography and PKI, shipboard security management and policy, plus hands-on practice in network/system/web penetration testing, OSINT, virtualisation, and threats to maritime communications. The programme includes a full 40-hour EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) course with an exam voucher, and offers optional ISC2 CISSP training (subject to demand, extra fee). 

Tuition: PLN 7,000 total (PLN 3,500 per semester), with payment options: PLN 6,900 upfront, 2× PLN 3,500, or monthly PLN 875.

Risk Management in Offshore Extraction and Offshore Wind Industries

Gain industry-ready competence to identify, analyse and control risk across offshore projects in offshore oil and gas and offshore wind. Over two semesters and 220 contact hours, taught in weekend blocks at the University’s Faculty of Navigation, the programme covers international standards and project risk frameworks, legal–economic conditions, risk methodology, hazard identification and elimination, quantitative/qualitative assessment, and monitoring & control – culminating in case studies from real offshore projects. Choose electives to deepen skills in areas such as critical infrastructure & cybersecurity, technical safety, project software, statistics, and soft skills (an optional PRINCE2® Foundation course with certification exam is also available for an extra fee). Tuition: PLN 7,900 (PLN 3,950 per semester) with flexible payment plans. Ideal for engineers, project managers and Health, Safety and Environment professionals seeking a rigorous, practice-led pathway into the offshore and renewable sectors.

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY SCIENCE

Logistics and International Transport

Now in its 10th cycle, this one-year course (weekend classes 1–2 times per month) equips students with practical, job-ready skills across the organisational, technical/technological and legal dimensions of transport and forwarding, plus transport-system design, logistics management, enterprise development in the TSL sector, information systems, urban logistics, eco-logistics, infrastructure, trade transactions and negotiation. 

Tuition is PLN 2,500 per semester (with 0% instalment options); the PLN 250 enrolment fee is deducted from your first semester payment. The programme concludes with an exam and the award of an official postgraduate certificate.
