Open Days

Gdynia Maritime University warmly welcomes prospective students and their families to discover what it’s like to study at one of Europe’s largest maritime universities during our Open Days.

Held twice a year – in March and December – these events are a fantastic opportunity to explore the environment where our students shape their futures. Visitors can enjoy guided campus tours, step inside our laboratories and simulators, take part in interactive workshops and lectures, and learn about the vibrant activities of our student research societies.

You’ll also have the chance to meet our academic staff and current students, ask questions, and get a real feel for life at GMU.

GMU Open Days take place at both the University’s main campus and the Faculty of Navigation.

Dates for GMU Open Days in the 2025/26 academic year will be published shortly here and in the news section of our website.
