Rafał Pilarski

I returned to study at Gdynia Maritime University after 16 years. In 2005, I graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications. Two years ago, I made the decision to do a master’s degree. The only university I considered was GMU.
After all these years, the University is unrecognisable – both in terms of its infrastructure, but also its laboratory equipment.
I’m currently preparing to sit my final exam. You study here in great conditions, with a friendly and almost personal atmosphere. My chosen path – Electronics and Telecommunications – is quite demanding. However, it provides great career opportunities. My professional experience and the knowledge I have gained during my studies at GMU have enabled me to run my own electronics design company for the past few years.
In my opinion, the demand for engineers, especially electronics engineers, will only grow, and Gdynia Maritime University thoroughly prepares specialists for such career opportunities.
