Dawid Kiliński

Hi! I graduated with a degree in Information and Communication Systems and Networks as a part-time student. After finishing technical college, I realised that I wanted to pursue a career in IT. Choosing this university was an easy decision for me – great opinions from friends, a friendly atmosphere, interesting degree programmes and curricula, and, as I later discovered, wonderful students and staff.  

In the same year I started my studies, 2013, I also began working at the IT company Sii, where I still work today. I was hired as a laboratory technician for one of the leading microprocessor manufacturers, whose research centre is located in Gdańsk.  

During my first semesters, I noticed how much the knowledge I gained at the university during weekend classes helped me in my job. It allowed me to grow professionally year after year, and even before completing my engineering degree, I was already serving as a Team Leader on a project. Apart from providing strong technical knowledge, the university helps you grow mentally and personally. I have great memories of many professors, doctors, and staff members with whom I could talk and discuss, and not only on technical topics, for hours. 

The years I spent at the University made me a fulfilled professional. Today, I work as a Service Delivery Manager, overseeing teams of nearly 100 people. 

And now I know one thing for sure – choosing this university back in 2013 was the best decision I could have made!
