Electrical Engineering
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering offers both bachelor's and master's degree programmes in Electrical Engineering
Degrees in this subject are currently taught in Polish only.
Bachelor's Degree
The bachelor’s degree programme in Electrical Engineering offers a broad introduction to contemporary electrical engineering and its applications in both land-based and marine environments. Students develop a strong understanding of electric drives, microprocessor control systems, and automation, along with the ability to apply IT tools and digital signal processing in system design and maintenance. Graduates are equipped with theoretical knowledge but also practical engineering skills enabling them to design and implement distributed industrial automation systems, create and test drive control solutions, and plan and document electrical power and renewable energy installations. They are also prepared to install, operate, and maintain advanced ship automation systems used on specialised vessels such as tankers, gas carriers, and offshore platforms.
Pathways:
- Marine Electrical Automation
- Industrial Automation
Mode of study:
Full-time/Part-time

Master's Degree
The master's programme in Electrical Engineering provides advanced knowledge and practical skills in the analysis, diagnostics, operation, and design of both land-based and marine electrical systems. Students gain expertise in electric drives, microprocessor-based control systems, and the automation of industrial and shipboard systems. The curriculum also covers the application of IT systems and digital signal processing technologies in electrical engineering. Graduates are prepared for managerial and research positions in the power, automation, and maritime industries. They develop competencies in system design, diagnostics, and project management, as well as the ability to implement innovative and energy-efficient solutions.
Pathways:
- Electroautomation
- Computer Control Systems
- Renewable Energy and Electromobility
