Department of Modelling and Mathematical Methods in Transport

The Department of Modelling and Mathematical Methods in Transport was established in 2024 as a research and teaching unit within the Faculty of Navigation. The Department conducts courses for students of the Faculty of Navigation and the Faculty of Marine Engineering, and carries out scientific research in broadly understood modelling and the application of mathematical methods and models in transport. Its research focuses primarily on the modelling, analysis, and optimisation of the safety and reliability of transport and logistics systems.
