Department of Transport

The Department of Transport was established in 2024 as a research and teaching unit of the Faculty of Navigation. It coordinates the study programmes in Transport and conducts research and teaching activities focused on the functioning and development of transport and logistics systems, as well as international transport policy.

The Department’s main area of interest is maritime transport and logistics, particularly the structure, operation, management, and development of port systems and their spatial, technical, economic, legal, and social interrelations at both national and international levels.
