Department of Ship Operation

The Department of Ship Operation provides instruction and conducts research in the field of safety in maritime transport.

For many years it has conducted studies on maritime transport, navigational safety and the safety of life at sea, in cooperation with leading academic and research centres, including the Maritime University of Szczecin, the Naval Academy, the Military University of Technology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, the Ship Design and Research Centre, the Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, the Foundation for Safety of Navigation and Environmental Protection, and the Maritime Search and Rescue Service.
