An empty slot means the pool is fully available (no bookings).
The swimming pool has 6 lanes. The numbers next to the abbreviated name of a school or company show how many lanes have been booked. If the total of these numbers within a given slot adds up to 6, this means the entire pool is booked. If the total is less than 6, the remaining lanes are available to be booked. If there is no number next to a school or company’s abbreviated name, this indicates that the entire pool is booked.
NEW BOOKINGS OR CHANGES TO EXISTING BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE, IN AGREEMENT WITH THE SWIMMING POOL MANAGEMENT. BOOKINGS/CHANGES CAN BE MADE FROM MONDAY TO THURSDAY BETWEEN 7:00 AND 15:00 AT THE SWIMMING POOL OFFICE, WITH CHANGES CONFIRMED BY E-MAIL.
At the swimming pool, it is forbidden to run any classes, including swimming lessons and coaching, without the knowledge and consent of the facility manager. The detailed Rules and Regulations for use of the Gdynia Maritime University Indoor Swimming Pool by swimming schools and individual instructors are available at the Swimming Pool Office.
The following rules apply at the pool:
• changing into dedicated pool-only footwear (e.g. flip-flops) intended only for use at the swimming pool. Outdoor footwear must be left in the lockers in the pool lobby.
• Swimming caps are required
• Swimwear must be briefs or close-fitting swim shorts (swimming in beach shorts/bermudas/loose shorts is not permitted).
