Electronics and Telecommunications

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering offers both bachelor's and master's degree programmes in Electronics and Telecommunications.

Degrees in this subject are currently taught in Polish only.

Bachelor's Degree

The programme provides a solid grounding in modern electronics and the functioning of contemporary ICT and telecommunication systems. Students take modules such as Embedded Systems, Mobile Device Programming, Satellite Communication Systems, and Aspects of Artificial Intelligence. They acquire skills in designing and maintaining electronic and telecommunication networks and in developing software solutions. Graduates are prepared for careers as electronics engineers, system designers, or ICT specialists. The course also provides the opportunity to obtain professional authorisations in telecommunications and, after the required sea training, the Second-Class Radio-Electronic Certificate.

Master's Degree

The programme provides advanced knowledge of modern electronics, telecommunication, and ICT systems. Students learn methods for analysing and designing electronic and telecommunication circuits and systems, as well as principles of administration and security of contemporary ICT networks. The curriculum includes courses such as Internet of Things Systems, Intelligent Electronic Systems, Photovoltaic Systems, and Information Security Testing. Graduates are prepared for professional roles in the design, operation, and management of electronic, telecommunication, and ICT systems, and may also obtain maritime and telecommunications certifications.
