GMU Inventions Awarded at International Warsaw Invention Show

GMU inventions have been presented awards at the prestigious International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS) held on 12-14 December 2023.

Innovation brokers Beata Wetoszka and Anna Żuławska of the GMU Technology Transfer Office presented inventions developed as part of the pre-implementation work carried out under the "innovation incubator 4.0" programme before the international committee.

The jury assessed the solutions' market potential, the strategy for their legal protection, including the registration of industrial property rights with the Polish Patent Office and the European Patent Office or the European Union Intellectual Property Office,  the degree of technological readiness, as well as ecological aspects. The reduction of the impact of negative factors on human health and life, safety, and the environment through innovation was also an important factor in the assessment. Inventions presented at the Show were evaluated within the following categories: ecology and environmental protection, mechanical engineering, construction, electronics, and textile and chemical industries.

The commission assessed the GMU inventions very highly, awarding medals in various categories:
