Required Documents

​Required application documents:

• Application form generated from the GMU Online Application System.
• Secondary school leaving certificate, Matura certificate, or an equivalent qualification entitling the holder to apply for higher education in the country where it was issued.
• Document confirming proficiency in the English/Polish language (according to the language of instruction of the study programme applied for).
• Two colour passport-sized photos on a light background, signed with your full name and social security number, plus one digital photo (JPG format, colour, light background, without head covering or dark glasses).
  • The digital photo must be at least 300 × 375 pixels (suitable for printing at 2 × 2.5 cm with proper quality) and no larger than 1 MB.
  • The digital photo must be identical to the printed photo submitted.
• Original proof of payment of the application fee.*
  
  *Should the programme not run, the admission fee will be refunded in full upon the applicant’s request.

Additionally required:

• Health insurance valid in Poland for the entire study period, or a copy of your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), or a declaration confirming registration with the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ) immediately after starting your studies.
• Seafarer’s medical certificate – required only for maritime specialisations at the Faculty of Navigation.
• Occupational health clearance issued by an occupational medicine doctor – required only for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (includes authorisation for internships).
• Valid sanitary-epidemiological health book (original for verification) or an original valid medical certificate for sanitary-epidemiological purposes – required only for the Quality Science degree programme.

Note: The cost of medical examinations and obtaining the sanitary-epidemiological health book or certificate is covered by the applicant.
