Required Documents
- Application form generated from the IRK Online Application System
- Original Secondary school leaving certificate, Matura certificate,or a copy certified by the University, or an equivalent qualification entitling the holder to apply for higher education in the country where it was issued (apostilled and translated, where applicable).
- Original technician diploma, or a copy certified by the University (if applicable).
- Document confirming proficiency in the English/Polish language (according to the language of instruction of the study programme applied for).
- A colour photo in JPG or PNG format, 500 × 625 pixels, uploaded to the IRK Online Application System only (no paper version required). The photograph must show the applicant against a light background, with the head uncovered and without dark glasses, and should include the head and upper shoulders only. The face must occupy 70–80% of the photo.
- Original proof of payment of the application fee.
- For applicants admitted Bachelor’s (first-cycle) degree studies in Navigation at the Faculty of Navigation (maritime specialisation only), a Seafarer’s Medical Certificate is required.*
- For applicants admitted to Bachelor’s degree studies in Quality Engineering at the Faculty of Management and Quality Science, a copy of a valid sanitary-epidemiological health book (original for verification) or an original valid medical certificate for sanitary-epidemiological purposes is required.*
- Applicants admitted to Bachelor’s degree studies at the Faculty of Marine Engineering are required to submit a medical certificate issued by an occupational medicine doctor, confirming fitness to study, including participation in industrial placements.*
*These documents must be submitted by the deadline set by the Dean of the Faculty.
Additionally required:
- Health insurance valid in Poland for the entire study period, or a copy of your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), or a declaration confirming registration with the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ) immediately after starting your studies.
Note: The cost of medical examinations required to obtain the Seafarer’s Medical Certificate, the sanitary-epidemiological health book or certificate, and the certificate issued by an occupational medicine doctor is borne by the applicant.
