V.Ships Poland- the world’s leader of crewing market is looking for motivated, organized and ambitious candidate for the position of

Crew Assistant.

An overall purpose of the job is to work as an integrated member of the Crewing team, to assist in crewing operations in order to ensure that each assigned vessel meets Company, national and international crewing requirements.

MAIN TASKS:

• Under guidance of the Crew Coordinator be responsible for undertaking Company crewing related processes.
• Maintaining relationships with seafarers
• Cooperation with V.Ships offices all around the world
• Maintaining and updating system’s data
• Cooperation with visa agents in order to arrange visas for joining crew
• Processing with flag state documents and visas
• Checking references, appraisals and documents validity of candidates
• Providing administrative assistance and fulfill tasks delegated by Crew Coordinator/ Manager

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Excellent communication sills (oral and written)
• Good computer operating skills (especially Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels
• Through awareness and good understanding of cultural and diversity issues
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Proven ability to work to meet tight deadlines
• Very good command of English
• Knowledge of marines market would be an asset
