Autonomous Systems Programming

In the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, students learn to program mobile and industrial robots, tackling real-world challenges such as obstacle avoidance, Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM), path planning, line following, and robot motion control using both deterministic methods and artificial intelligence algorithms. During sessions, students work with two-wheeled AlphaBot2 platforms equipped with sensors, DC motors, and OLED displays to develop and test their robot control programs.

The laboratory is developed in close collaboration with Robotpol, providing students with practical experience in programming and testing autonomous robots.
