Structural FEM Analysis Engineer

For our Norwegian client with a branch in Poland, specializing in the marine and offshore energy sector and delivering advanced engineering solutions with innovative designs for floating and fixed offshore structures, we are looking for a talented Structural FEM Analysis Engineer.
Job location: Szczecin (Poland)
In this role, you will be responsible for performing detailed structural analyses using FEM/FEA methods to ensure the safety, performance, and durability of complex marine and offshore structures. This is a great opportunity to work in an independent position within a Norwegian work culture.
Responsibilities:
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for marine/offshore steel structures, including static, dynamic, linear, and non-linear analyses
- Build and verify detailed FE models using tools such as DNV Software GeniE, ANSYS, Femap, or MSC Nastran
- Interpret analysis results to ensure structural safety, efficiency, and compliance with classification society rules (e.g., DNV, ABS, BV)
- Prepare analysis reports, design notes, and technical documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in FEM structural analysis, preferably within the marine, offshore, or heavy steel industry
- University degree in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one of the following tools: ANSYS, Femap, GeniE, Nastran
- Advanced English language skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment
